You are shimmering, boundless energy

Sorry I missed Sunday Psychic Sit-down yesterday, I was a bit under the weather and just couldn’t get it done, but I will be back next week with a new installment.

Today however, I want to touch on a subject that really does bother me, and that is the way we allow the opinions of others to affect the way we view ourselves. The push to be thin, beautiful, rich or successful comes not from within ourselves most of the time, but from the world of advertising and often social media.

Since some of you who read this have never met me personally, I will tell you that I am the exact same weight now as I was in high school. I am also nearly six foot tall. Going through grade school and even college was difficult for me because of this. I have been called fat, ugly, lazy –because I was fat, stupid –because I was ugly (like either of those two are interchangeable).

What is sad for me to admit, is that I spent a great deal of my life worrying about what others thought of me. I allowed the way the world saw beauty to dictate the way I saw myself, and as I look back now, that was the stupidest thing I ever did.

My guides are almost yelling at me to say this: We are boundless

You are all beautiful in the eyes of spirit and the Divine. None are perfect, not even the ones who pay dearly to look as though they are.

When you tell yourself that you are not enough, you are allowing ego and the dictates of the media driven machine, to disrespect you.  You are allowing the beautiful, individual creature that you are, the one that came to have the lessons and experiences that only you can, to be chipped away little by little. To become less, not in the eyes of the creator, but in your own eyes.

My guides also want you to know that you have an internal guidance and it is simple to use.

If an internal thought causes you to feel bad, then it is wrong and goes against what your soul knows is the truth. Neither your guides nor the Divine will ever say anything disrespectful or negative toward you. They are pure love, and wish that you could see yourselves the way that they see you—as shimmering, boundless energy.

Well, this isn’t the post I started to write, but obviously this is the post they felt needed to be written. Be kind to yourselves, and each other. I know it is hard. People can be cruel, heartless creatures. That is why it is so important for those of us who are teachers and healers to come together.

Many blessings on this wonderful day.
